A 26-year-old man is to stand trial in connection with an alleged fracas on Barra last weekend.
He faces two charges - one of assault and another of disorderly behaviour.
The man pleaded not guilty when he appeared from custody at Inverness Sheriff Court via video link from Stornoway.
Sheriff Eilidh MacDonald arranged a trial date for mid-July at Lochmaddy Sheriff Court.
The man was released on bail.
