An ill fisherman has been airlifted off a Portugese trawler near Rockall.
A medical evacuation off the fishing boat was carried out for the man who was suffering severe stomach pains.
The Stornoway coastguard helicopter flew nearly 500 in a round trip to take the casualty 500 miles to hospital in Inverness.
The mission on Saturday night took the aircraft close to its operational limits.
