At our cGMP certified site in Callanish, on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, our experts oversee the commercial-scale manufacture of omega-3 and omega-6 products for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and food sectors.  For over 20 years they have been developing novel purification methods for fatty acids, such as the industry-leading Maxomega™ and Crystalpure™ technologies.

 

TRAINING COORDINATOR

What you can expect

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate and support the site Leadership Team with the development and implementation of a training program for all employees in compliance with all relevant regulatory and BASF standards.  

You will establish and evaluate specific training content for each role (including risk assessments and standard operating procedures), developing their effectiveness, as well as supporting site management in order to maintain a structured and accurate training record system which is compliant with relevant internal and external standards.

You will support management to identify training needs and develop clear training processes to be used consistently by all site trainers, in line with the skills and knowledge requirements for each role.

You will also on occasion deliver training using established methods in accordance with relevant standards. Specific experience and knowledge of Apprentice training schemes would be very beneficial.   

What we expect

You should be degree qualified and will have experience in a Learning & Development role, ideally in a manufacturing organisation. You will also have excellent organisational and communication skills (written/verbal).
