Two men involved in an incident at a Stornoway pub have appeared in Stornoway Sheriff Court.
Shaun Macleod, 21, of Steinish, Lewis, was fined £200 after admitting making homophobic remarks to a female and to police officers as well as acting aggressively and shouting and swearing. The offence was motivated because of the person's sexual orientation.
Campbell Macdonald of 40A Coll, Lewis, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour, shouting and swearing and making verbal threats to a man in the pub. He was fined £150.
