Curfew for teenager who kicked police officer 9/5/14
A curfew was imposed on Shaun Macleod of 22 Steinish, Lewis, when he was sentenced
at Stornoway Sheriff Court this week.
The 19-year-old previously admitted kicking a female police officer, struggling with
police and shouting and swearing in Stornoway town centre on 14 December last year.
Macleod also pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour, while on bail, in Lewis
Street, Stornoway, on 31 December.
Sheriff David Sutherland imposed a one year community payback order to include 150
hours of unpaid community service work.
In addition, he was put on a 9pm to 6am curfew for Friday and Saturday nights for
the next 12 months.
