Teenager in court

A teenager accused of breaking bail was arrested on Saturday night.

The 16-year-old was previously released on bail while awaiting sentencing on charges involving obstructing emergency personnel and creating a disturbance at a hospital.

On Saturday, she allegedly failed to obey a bail curfew.

The island youth was held in custody over the weekend of an initial court appearance.

She will appear at Stornoway Sheriff Court at a later date.
