A teenager has been banned from drinking alcohol and sentenced to a community payback order for two years.

Natalie Frobisher was also placed on on a 8pm to 6am curfew on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for the next 12 months.

The 16-year-old of Macleod Road, Stornoway, previously pleaded guilty to obstructing two nursing staff at accident and emergency department of the Stornoway hospital.

The court was told she was shouting, swearing, was uttering offensive remarks and making verbal violent threats.

She persistently sat on the floor and refused to stand up.

On a second charge, she resisted arrest by struggling with two police officers.

After being released on bail, Frobisher broke a condition to obey a 8pm to 8am curfew and was found at another house at 8.35pm on 13 December.
