Sir,
The desperately sad and sorry story of 2 April under ‘Sheriff condemns “harsh behaviour”
of cheating partner’ reflects how far we have plunged as a society, when people unashamedly
jump – right at our door steps -
Oh what a tangled web we weave,
When first we practise to deceive!
While the Sheriff in Stornoway condemns (and we salute him for doing so) the guilty partner, and rightly throws the full force of the law at him, the Bible reminds us of a greater Judge who pronounces a far stiffer sentence on those who do not forsake such ungodly practices: “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness (excessive indulgence in sensual pleasures)…..and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5v19)
The ‘cheating pair’ who together ‘abandoned their partners and took the ferry to
the mainland in July 2011’ should be ashamed of themselves for the deceitful and
stomach-
The various chilling words expressed in the report ‘secret affair’ ‘cheating behaviour’ ‘adulterous partner’ ‘abandoned their partners’ clearly tells us that the aptly named ‘cheating pair’ have no conscience, no morals, no principles and no decency whatsoever between them.
The best thing that could be done to the dwelling at 21A New Shawbost is sell it with the proceeds given to charity.
We remember the mourning family of Ann Wood with deep heart-
