Summer gale for Western Isles

An unseasonable summer gale is expected to affect the Western Isles later on Saturday.

Strong southerly winds are forecast to rise to force eight from the afternoon.

Gusts up to nearly 50mph may be experienced at times.

Rain is expected over the day.

Conditions will remain windy on Sunday.
