Sudden death 22/2/14
A motorist has died after apparently taking ill behind the wheel while driving in
South Lochs, Lewis, today.
It involved an incident when a car went off the road by Kershader and Garyvard this
afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 3.40pm.
The casualty was airlifted directly from the location to hospital by the Stornoway
coastguard helicopter.
Police Scotland said the incident is being treated as a sudden death.
