Island bakery at UK’s largest food event 13/3/13
Stag Bakeries of Stornoway are one of eight companies from the Highlands and Islands
showcasing their wares at the UK’s largest food event in London next week.
The International Food and Drink Event gives suppliers and distributors around the
globe a flavour of Scotland.
Iain Sutherland from Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) said: “The Highlands
and Islands is home to some of the finest food and dink produce in the world.
“We hope that our businesses’ attendance in London will provide them with the contacts
they need in order to grow.
“It is vital for producers selling quality food and drink to show their products
to the right audience and the event in London is a great place to start. We have
an excellent representation this year and we wish them all the best.”
