Refused to leave pub        20/1/12

A man had a very expensive visit to the British Legion when he refused to leave the premises for police one evening in May last year.

Donald Fergus Macleod whose address was given as The Tower Guesthouse, Stornoway, was fined a total of £650

The court heard he was abusive inside the building and was asked to leave on 28th May.

Fiscal David Teale said he was outside the door when police arrived. He tired to go back inside but was refused access by the officers.

He added that Macleod shouted and swore at them and became violent when arrested.
