A man was taken to hospital after a house fire in Stornoway.
Two fire crews attended the incident at a flat on Matheson Road, Stornoway on Wednesday night.
Four firefighters using breathing sets extinguished the flames in the kitchen using water hoses.
The male occupant was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
The kitchen was wrecked by the blaze while the rest of the property was completely damaged by smoke.
