Due to strong northerly winds and sea swell conditions, MV Loch Seaforth’s sailings
for the second half of Saturday are on yellow alert.
CalMac said the Stornoway afternoon departure and the evening run from Ullapool face
disruption or cancellation. Livestock on these sailings will be on a sailing by sailing
basis.
Meanwhile, the South Uist - Mallaig link is cancelled as the ferry has been deployed
elsewhere. MV Isle of Mull will operate a part time relief service to Oban until
18 October.
MV Lord of The Isles is expected to resume service on that date provided MV Caledonian
Isles is finally fixed.
