All scheduled ferry sailings between Stornoway and Ullapool remain on amber alert for the rest of Wednesday.
The MV Isle of Lewis completed her morning runs across the Minch.
The ferry departed Stornoway at 2pm but a heavy swell in the Minch may affect the crossing.
Sailings may be liable to disruption at short notice.
There are no scheduled sailings for Thursday, New Year’s Day.
Friday’s timetable on the route may be disrupted due to weather and sea conditions said Cal Mac.
