An alleged theft at Stornoway Airport is being investigated by police.
Airfield operator, Highlands and Islands Airports Limited (Hial), said two employees have been suspended following an internal investigation "after serious allegations were brought to our attention."
A Hial spokesman said: “The matter has now been referred to the authorities for further investigation.
“This decision will have no impact on services at the airport.
"Stornoway Airport will continue to operate as normal.”
