The Stornoway ferry MV Loch Seaforth remains stormbound in Ullapool.

The ship plans to sail across the Minch at 3am when violent westerly winds are forecast to start to ease.

On Tuesday, the MV Finlaggan will run an amended timetable to catch-up on a backlog of traffic.

There will be a sailing out of Oban in the afternoon for Castlebay and Lochboisdale.
