Storm surge waves slam over traffic

Huge waves crashed over vehicles driving along the Braighe road as severe weather hit the islands on Tuesday morning.
Wild seas whipped up by an intensifying storm hammered into the sea wall and slammed over the top.
The storm surge which caused the sea to rise higher than normal occurred about an hour after high tide peaked.
