Storm set to batter islands 4/10/14
Severe gales bringing rain and rough seas are expected in the Western Isles from Sunday into Monday.
Conditions are set to storm force for a time as a spell of bad weather moves westwards.
The worst of the weather is expected to affect Uist and Barra.
Wind speeds will strengthen from the south west during the first part of Sunday.
Increasing in strength, the wind direction will change to come from the south -
By the early hours of Monday, a south south easterly storm is forecast to hit exposed locations in the Southern Isles where gusts may reach over 70mph.
