Storas Uibhist election outcome 19/6/14
Sarah MacEachen and Mary Schmoller have been re-elected to Storas Uibhist. Ms MacEachan
received 281 votes while 247 people voted for Mrs Schmoller.
Hector MacLeod was also elected to the Board with 227 votes.
A turnout of 58.1% of Members voted in the postal ballot organised by Electoral Reform
Services.
Some 461 people voted out of an electorate of 793 giving a 58.1% turnout.
Unsuccessful candidates were Martin Matheson with 217 votes and Duncan Aitken who
received 179 votes.
