A quantity of heating oil has been reported stolen from a property in the Bakers Road area of Newmarket on Lewis.
The theft has only just been discovered but thieves may have struck at any point since November.
A bag of smokeless fuel was also taken.
Western Isles police urge anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 101.
