Police are investigating the theft of propane gas bottles from the rear of a property in Port of Ness on Lewis.
Two 19Kg orange-
The bottles were joined together with a heavy chain and padlock and would have been quite awkward to carry or move.
Anyone who has information is requested to call police in Stornoway on 101 and quote reference number NH828/18.
Alternatively, information can be anonymously given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
