A former civilian instructor with the Air Training Corp (ATC) in Stornoway stole £1,317 from the youth organisation.
Kenneth Murray, of Macphail Street, Bridgton, Glasgow, was fined £750 when he appeared for sentencing at Stornoway Sherrif Court to embezzlement.
