A motorist caught doing 65mph in a 40mph zone at Achmore on Lewis has been fined.
Mark Higgins of Bearsden, Glasgow, was stopped by a police for speeding in moderate traffic on 6 June.
He pleaded guilty when his case called at Stornoway Sheriff Court and was fined £150 as well as receiving three penalty points,
