An islander caught speeding at over 100mph has been fined.
At Stornoway Sheriff Court, Gordon Smith of Barvas, Lewis, admitted driving at 104mph on the Bràighe road in Point, Lewis.
The incident occurred last month.
Smith was fined £600 after a £300 discount for his early plea.
Sheriff David Sutherland imposed six penalty points on his licence.
