Speeding offence 6/7/14
A motorist caught speeding has been fined for the offence.
Stornoway Sheriff Court heard Murray Macdonald of 7 Vatisker, Back, Lewis, pleaded
guilty by letter.
Procurator fiscal David Teale said the 21-year-old was spotted driving at 58mph in
a 30mph zone in the dark through Willowglen Road, Stornoway at 9.15pm on 18 April.
Honorary sheriff Iain Macleod fined him £140 and imposed three penalty points.
