A driver caught speeding on the Lochs Road outside Stornoway was fined £300 at Stornoway Sheriff Court.
Peter Lee Walker admitted driving at 61mph in a 40mph zone in November.
Walker of Manchester also received five points on his licence.
He was given to the end of the month to pay the fine.
