A £100 and three penalty points on their licence seemed to be the going rate for speeding when a raft of island motorists were sentenced at Stornoway Sheriff Court.
Many caught driving over the speed limit in February found their cases being called in court this month.
According to the locations of a number of offences, Willowglen, Newmarket and the Tong Road seem to be favourite spots for motorists going too fast.
