Speeding fine 25/5/14
A motorist who speeded at 60mph in a 40mph zone on the Lochs to Stornoway road by
Leurbost was received a fine and penalty points when sentenced at Stornoway Sheriff
Court.
Calum Maclean, 50, of Highcroft, Lighthill, Back, Lewis, admitted the offence which
occurred around 7.15pm on 3rd March.
Sheriff David Sutherland imposed a £180 fined - discounted from £240 for his early
plea - as well as three penalty points on his licence.
