Driver charged with speeding at 92mph 29/6/14
Island police are targetting speedsters with a number being caught around Stornoway
by radar guns.
In one case a 23-year-old male driver was recorded allegedly doing 92mph on the Braighe
in Point.
At that level of speed he lost the chance of a fixed penalty and is expected to appear
in court at a later date.
Others have been caught at Tong, Willowglen Road, and Sandwick Road.
