Rona MacDonald's Gaelic play, Fuaigh, will be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe this month.

With music by Gillebride MacMillan, performance by Rona MacDonald, visual projections by Judith Parrott and directed by John Binnie, the play uses song, story, imagery and dance.

Fuaigh starts at a ceilidh on South Uist, leaves for the big city of Glasgow and comes back again.

Performed in Gaelic and English, the performance explores the stories of  celebration of the spirit of belonging, leaving and returning to home.

Fuaigh is staged in the Scottish Storytelling Centre at the Edinburgh Fringe on 17th and 21th August.
