Parts of the Western Isles experienced unseasonal snowfall on Saturday morning.
Wintry weather arrived with a cold blast blowing down from the Arctic in recent days.
The Met Office said the Outer Hebrides had spots of lying snow which later melted as daytime temperatures rose.
The Harris hills have seen a dusting of snow over the last couple of days with more white powder falling overnight.
