Sniffer dog caught festival fan 27/6/14
A police sniffer dog caught drugs on a festival fan, Lochmaddy Sheriff Court heard
this week.
Danile Maclean of 360 Kings Acre Road, Rutherglen, Glasgow, pleaded guilty by letter.
The 31-year-old admitted possessing ecstasy at the Barra Music Festival on Tangasdale
beach in July last year.
Procurator fiscal David Teale told the court that a police sniffer dog was going
round the crowd and detected the drug on him.
Sheriff Noel McPartlin fined Maclean £200 - discounted from £300 for making an early
plea - and gave him two months to pay.
