Smoke damage after fire in house 19/2/13
A house in Back on Lewis suffered smoke damage in a number of rooms after a fire.
Stornoway fire crews were called out to the fire in a detached one and a half storey
property on Saturday.
Firemen donned breathing sets to tackle the fire An area of floor was burnt and
both floors of the property damaged by smoke.
A chimney fire equipment was also deployed. A special thermal imaging camera was
used to ensure no hidden hotspots remained.
