Simple solution to ferry problem

The solution to the ferry problems seems simple to me.

Approach the Edinburgh government for funding - they have shown they have plenty and want "to work with everybody."

Build a second dolphin and brand new linkspan with road connection. This could be done during the good weather over the summer.

Problem solved and there is now a back up linkspan should there be problems in the future.

Does the Edinburgh government care enough for us to do this? That is the problem.
