Severe gale forecasted 25/9/14
The Met Office has issued a severe gale warning for the Hebrides region.
South westerly winds are due to increase in strength over Thursday with gusts reaching over 50mph for a period in places later and into early Friday.
Strong winds are expected to continue during Friday while Saturday may be blustery.
The worst of the bad weather is anticipated to affect the islands overnight and will be accompanied by rough seas and rain.
