A Stornoway youth has appeared in court accused of severely assaulting an island man.
Kris Redfern made no plea or declaration during the brief private hearing at Stornoway Sheriff Court yesterday.
The 21-
Sheriff David Sutherland released Refern on bail under special conditions.
The alleged incident took place in Stornoway town centre in 18th December.
