Senior Marine Operative (Net Wash)

 

 Isle of Harris

 Salary up to £23,399 plus overtime

 

We are recruiting for a Senior Marine Operative (Net Wash) to join our team in the Harris area.  Under the direction of the Site Manager, you will be based in Harris and will assume responsibility for net washing staff, vessels and equipment.  

Ideally applicants will have an Advanced Powerboat (or similar) qualification, proven leadership skills, strong fish husbandry and organisational abilities as well as good numeric and IT skills.  The successful applicant must also be committed to the highest standards of staff health and safety and understand the importance of environmental issues.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend working payable at an enhanced rate.  As this position will require travel, a full clean driving licence is required, along with good standards of fitness in order to pass a full ML5 medical.
