Two young children were strapped into the same seat belt in the front seat of a vehicle when police stopped a Lewis motorist.
Police officers spotted the incident and halted the Ford Transit tipper truck on Sandwick Road, Stornoway at 6.40pm on 3 September.
At Stornoway Sheriff Court, Garrabost resident, Angus Macmillan, admitted not using the correct child restraint. He was fined £200 for the offence.
