Concerns for a man's welfare sparked a search in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The male was reported overdue after leaving a football match on his motorbike on Friday evening.
Coastguard volunteers searched the Ness area.
The man was later located safe and well.
Volunteers from coastguard rescue teams from Ness, Bragar, Breasclete, Stornoway and South Lochs were involved in the search.
