The annual Sea Sunday service is being held at St Columba's Church, Stornoway, this weekend.
Sea Sunday is when churches all over the world come together to remember seafarers and pray for them, their families and those who support them.
People having connections with the sea are attending, including from the lifeboat service, fisherman's mission, offshore workers, fishermen, Merchant Navy and Cal Mac workers.
