For the third school day in a row, Castlebay School has closed due to very high winds affecting Barra.
Pupils have not attended classes since Wednesday due to the ongoing adverse weather.
Eoilgarry School was also closed on Monday.
In Uist and Benbecula, conditions were set to particularly worsen for the normal

Buses were arranged at lunchtime for pupils at Lochmaddy, Paible, Lionacleit, Balivanich and Daliburgh to travel safely.
