Cash for school food project 4/2/14
The Nicolson Institute in Stornoway has been awarded £5000 for a scheme where pupils
will work with island businesses to use local produce for healthy products in a project
inspired by the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The Scottish Government funding aims to help pupils learn about all aspects of food
and supports the aims of Curriculum for Excellence.
