The Scalpay bridge will be closed overnight for repairs over most of this month.
The bridge will shut between 11pm and 6am to install new expansion joints.
The works are anticipated to run untilthe 28th October under a series of overnight bridge closures each night with the exception of Sundays.
Restricted and managed access will be made available on request for pedestrians during the hours of closure.
