Saturday ferry cancellations

The MV Lord of the Isles remains stormbound in Castlebay. She did not go to South Uist last night due to the conditions.

Her Lochboisdale - Mallaig sailings are cancelled today.

In addition, the Loti will not pick up Sunday’s inward voyage from Lochboisdale and will sail direct from Castlebay at 10.30am to Oban. Traffic from Uist can travel across the Sound of Barra with a 9.30am ferry from Eriskay.

All sailings between Uig and Lochmaddy are cancelled for today

The MV Clansman - which is on the route for a month - is expected to make a run from Uig to Tarbert at 6.50pm. An amended timetable will operate on Sunday.

The Stornoway relief ferry, MV Isle of Arran has been weatherbound since Thursday night. There are no sailings to Ullapool today. Sunday ‘s timetable is on amber alert and is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.

The late afternoon and evening timetable on the Sound of Barra route is cancelled.
