Marine Site Managers (2)
Competitive salary dependent on experience
Location: Isle of Harris
Due to our expansion on the Isle of Harris, two new marine production sites will become operational in August 2015 and we therefore require two experienced Site Managers.
Marine Site Managers are responsible for managing and developing their salmon sites to the highest standards and must therefore be experienced and enthusiastic salmon farmers.
The successful candidates will have excellent fish husbandry skills, strong management and leadership qualities and proven organisational skills. Ideally, you will already be in a similar role where you have proven experience of automated feed systems, fish health, growth curves and feed management. A full, clean driving licence is essential together with a willingness to travel as and when required.
The roles report to the Production Manager and will be involved in the development of the new sites as well as the recruitment of your team, using our industry leading Competency Framework to assess and develop their skills.
As a Site Manager you will also demonstrate our Values of Pride, Passion and Provenance with a commitment to the safety and welfare of your staff, to the livestock within your control and to the local community, environment and beyond.
