Friday’s ferry service for Castlebay is cancelled due to a forecast of strong southerly winds.
50 mph gusts are expected at times. Heavy seas and a high swell will also feature.
The MV Isle of Lewis will remain in port all day. The ship plans to resume sailings on Saturday morning with an improvement in weather conditions.
The MV Lord of the Isles will depart Mallaig over two hours earlier than usual on Friday afternoon.
