Timing clash for running events 14/3/14
Two running events are taking place in the Uist this weekend.
Runners from the Butt of Lewis to Barra are congregating in Langass Woodland in North Uist for the Western Isles Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
Around 150 competitors are expected to take part in the championships in this unique setting with races starting at 10.45am..
Meanwhile, the Benbecula 10K is on at the same time. The event starts from Liniclate at 11am.
