Hebrides News

The MV Hebrides has been delayed due to adverse conditions today. The ferry is on amber alert and her timetable for Harris and North Uist may face disruptions, said Cal Mac.

The MV Lord of the Isles is running late due to high winds. She was delayed on her outward voyage. The vessel later departed Lochboisdale at 2.20pm and is due to dock in Oban at 7.35pm.

All sailings between Stornoway and Skye have been cancelled due to adverse weather.

Ullapool harbour cleared the decks around the new linkspan to provide a vehicle ferry service to the mainland today. Otherwise, car traffic would have been badly disrupted.

On Sunday, only a foot passenger service will operate to Ullapool while vehicles will be routed through Skye.

Normal service on the Stornoway - Ullapool route resumes on Monday.
