Due to high winds, Cromwell Street in Stornoway town centre is closed to all vehicles and pedestrians from North Beach Street to Bayhead.
Police said there is a potential hazard from insecure roofing in the area caused by high winds.
The traffic restrictions also apply to Perceval Square car park
